The Social Impact Intensive is an eight-week deep dive limited to just a handful of accepted applicants where nonprofits are encouraged to “…do dot org differently,” according to Jessica Kinsey, CEO of Prodigy & Co and co-founder of the initiative.
“We aren’t interested in recreating support services that are already available,” said Kinsey. “We want to help organizations think critically about best practices and develop solutions that are unique to their needs.”
After a half-day introductory session, nonprofits accepted to the course will spend two hours each week exploring storytelling; value propositions; targeted donor, volunteer, and beneficiary strategies; board management; fundraising; and technology and systems, a total of 20 hours of in-class learning and application. New this year, organizations will also be invited to participate in expanded peer review sessions and study outside of the classroom.
Applications are currently being accepted online only. No more than eight organizations will be accepted for this cohort. The Social Impact Intensive will begin on February 15 and costs $499. For more information, email Jessica Kinsey at email@example.com.
