Dubbed “‘Shark Tank’ for nonprofits,” Rally Point is a nine-week accelerator built specifically for social entrepreneurs of all industries and experience levels.

The program has graduated more than 50 nonprofits and social enterprises since 2019.

Participants finish the course with all the tools needed for nonprofit success, including:

  • A lean business plan

  • Budget

  • Marketing language

  • Marketing plan

  • Board development strategy

  • Fundraising strategy.

The class culminates with a pitch to the esteemed Funder’s Panel - a group of private foundation, corporate, and individual donors who share their experience and potential funding opportunities with participants.

What can you expect to walk away with?

According to post-accelerator surveys, 100% of alumni were able to develop nonprofit ideas and programs into a lean business plan by the final class, and more than 50% of alumni graduated with market-ready nonprofit concepts.

In addition, 100% of participants stated they were “very likely” to recommend the program.

Rally Point @ College

Rally Point @ College is a flexible, on-campus program for undergraduates consisting of six to eight courses taught by experienced nonprofit professionals. Participants finish the course with a lean business plan, theory of change (logic model build), budget, marketing language, board development strategy, custom metrics and outcomes, and a startup fundraising strategy. Rally Point @College culminates in an optional “pitch competition” designed to give student entrepreneurs the opportunity to pitch their social enterprise to nonprofit professionals and philanthropists for valuable feedback on concept viability and presentation skills.

“As one of the facilitators for Rally Point, I'm always excited when I see the lightbulb of understanding in our participant's faces. As the participants begin to see the pathway for their dream to become reality, they get more enthusiastic. That energy is contagious to others in the cohort. Whether any of them ever start an organization, the whole group starts to see the value of working with and alongside the nonprofit sector. That is the reason to expand,”

Toni McGee, Rally Point and Rally Point @College Instructor

Rally Point and Rally Point @College are great for entrepreneurs of all industries and experience levels who are interested in nonprofit work or just exploring ways that their business ideas can have a positive impact. This is more than just a lecture series - classes are engaging, student-driven, and highly participatory.
